Medical Outreach of America is a multi-tiered organization dedicated to delivering international medical care, education, disease prevention strategies, and improving resources vital to healthier living.  MOA serves as a catalyst for collaboration with international community partners, and our efforts emphasize outreach work that contributes to continuity of care and the sustainability of ongoing in-country projects and programs.

Return to Nepal October 23rd - 30th, 2010

Medical Outreach of America is returning to Nepal! We need Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Support Personnel to aid us in our efforts.

MOA has been working with the Esther Benjamins Trust foundation (EBT) that has been heavily involved in helping children and women who have been rescued from the circus or sex trades. Our mission is to treat the children in EBT's Kathmandu refuge and then travel to a remote area in the Manahari district (the main trafficking area) about 3 hours south of Kathmandu where we will also set up clinic and provide care. Many of the rescued girls were reunited with their families here and have also not received appropriate treatment after countless acts of rape and violence with no access to healthcare. This area is incredibly impoverished and in great need of our help.
